The Scott Family with “Waterfront” the Catamaran

Commissioned by Brenda as a birthday gift to her husband. The painting features the family of four on their sailboat. Brenda and one of her daughters is seen snorkelling under the hull of the boat and discovering a beautiful pearl. Her husband and their other daughter have both their fishing rods out with a Spanish Mackeral on one line and a Queenfish on the other.

Under the sea you will find two turtles, an oar fish, clown fish, Angel fish coral, a sting ray and a giant clam in the corner.

Rachelle and her Mum visit Tonga

Commissioned by Rachele as a 70th birthday gift to her Mum in Switzerland. Rachele is a marine biologist and wanted to include a scene from their most memorable holidays to Tonga where they swam with hump back whales.

Under the sea you will find a turtle, clown fish, a parrot fish and a special type of coral called Turbinaria mesenterina aka disc coral. The red tailed cockatoo in the sky represents Rachele’s home here in Australia.

Heidi’s three children on an underwater adventure!

I was asked to create an artwork featuring Heidi’s three children. Her two eldest sons love to sail in their optimusts in New South Wales. Her youngest is seen driving the submarine with their pet dog in the port hole. A red octopus, a spotted ray, a seahorse and a jellyfish all feature in the painting.

Marissa, Simon and daughter Tanner

This family portrait was commissioned by the little girls Nanna, Jan in Perth, W.A. She wanted her daughter and grand-daughter as mermaids under the sea. Her son in law, Simon is a keen fisherman and is pictured in the family's tin boat catching a fish, sitting next to their two dogs. The brief included the ocean to have little clown fish as the little girl, Tanner loves the movie "Finding Nemo".

For Kristen & Don

A commissioned painting for the couples beautiful sailboat, Bakali.

Don is pictured on the bow under a straw hat with a hopeful fishing line out. Kristen is painted as a mermaid hiding underneath the keel of the boat cheekily tugging on his fishing line.

An octopus features in the corner hiding behind a rock. All the fish are bemused by the foreign anchor on the seabed. There are hermit crabs and a hidden clam in the corner.

For Nancy & her family

This painting was commissioned for a 40th birthday present by Nancy’s friend, Antonia.

The painting features Nancy, her husband and their son. They live in Darwin, Northern Territory and are both lovers of the ocean and all the sea life. Coral trout, a sting ray and a turtle are all swimming around the coastline. Nancy is also a pilot and in the top corner there is a Cessna plane. 

The family has three pets and they are pictured swimming in the bight of Australia with scuba gear.

For Gill & her partner

Commissioned by Gill as a 70th birthday gift to her partner.

The painting features their trimaran, Mika sailing in the Pacific Ocean. Their two kayaks sit on the port side with the Austrlian flag at the stern. Dolphins and a sting ray are seen at the bottom of the artwork.

Family portrait for Xavier

This piece was commissioned by Xavi as a Christmas gift for his family in Catalonia, Spain where he is from. Featuring Xavier and his four nieces and nephews. Under the family it says “Torre de Claramunt, Juliol 2020” translating to “The tower of Claramunt, July 2020”.

Wedding gift for Miranda & Joe

This watercolour painting was commissioned for two friends that got married in 2016. The bride gifted the watercolour painting to her husband for their 1st wedding anniversary! She wanted Mount Hood in the background with their camper van. Their dog, Hazel is pictured in the foreground. Joe is playing guitar next to the campfire and Miranda is sitting whilst reading a good novel.

The Laneway - A series of three

These three watercolour paintings were commissioned by Luke as Christmas gifts for his friends and family in Perth, WA.

The painting on the left features “The Laneway”, a quaint lane between the houses in Fremantle. The garden is abundant with flowers and plants. It marks the place of community as the neighbours often meet for an afternoon soiree.

Monica & Richard are pictured in front of the wooden red doorway with their names on a small plaque. Tina, J & their dog Rosie are pictured in front of their white wooden door.

Gurkiran Kaur and Harjit Singh

This watercolour painting was commissioned by Gurkiran and Harjit for their Sikh wedding in Perth, Western Australia. They wanted to send out invitations to their families and friends featuring a portrait of them. The original painting was displayed in a wooden frame at the wedding.

How does it work? 

Send me at least 4 reference photos for me to work from. Make sure to send photos with no cropped faces and that it is a clear photograph of the individuals face.

Mention any details you would like added such as hair, clothes, glasses or your favourite colours and patterns.

Next, I will send you a sketch and we can tweak it until you are happy. Then I can get started on the original painting. Finally I will package it up safely and send it to you.

If you need it done by a special date, please let me know.

Turnaround time is roughly 3 weeks.
